Last night, our team had the honour of attending Ignite, the annual fundraiser for Myra’s Kids Foundation. It was an incredibly meaningful evening devoted to supporting children and families navigating the profound journey of grief. An evening filled with warmth that brought together community was a powerful reminder of how design, storytelling, and compassion can come together to create real impact.

At the heart of the event was a cause we care deeply about. Myra’s Kids provides free, year-round grief support for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Through programming such as summer camps, peer support groups, and community initiatives, they offer a safe space for children to heal, connect, and remember.

We were incredibly proud to collaborate once again with the Myra’s Kids team to shape the visual experience of the evening. From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed by story-rich banners that gently guided them through the space, each one featuring real words and faces impacted by the foundation’s work. One of the most moving installations was a dedicated wall showcasing the past year’s impact: bold statistics paired with heartfelt stories, designed to spark not just awareness but also action.

Another special moment during the evening was the launch of You Know I’m Here, a beautiful children’s book written by Jon Reider and illustrated by Noa Ne’eman, published by Garden Wolf Publishing House, and designed by yours truly. The book explores loss through a gentle, imaginative lens, making it a meaningful resource for grieving families. To honour its debut, our team designed a cozy “reading corner” installation, evoking the warmth of home and the memories it holds. Soft lighting, storybook textures, and thoughtful furniture choices helped create an intimate corner for guests to read and purchase a copy of the book for a loved one.

Beyond its role as a fundraiser, Ignite is a night of hope— for the families it helps. It reminds us why organizations like Myra’s Kids are so vital, and how storytelling and design can help make a real difference. Most importantly, the funds raised ensure that grieving families continue to receive these life-changing programs year-round at no cost.

We’re deeply grateful to have played a part in bringing this night to life; and even more grateful to support a community that gives with full hearts.
