Some questions we get asked a lot.
I know how to use Photoshop. Why do I need a designer?
Trust us, we’re professionals.
Graphic designers go beyond software manipulation to combine fine art techniques and a creative point of view to design effective marketing materials. Designers use a visual vocabulary including shape, layout, type, illustration, colour and concept. We also posses technical knowledge on topics that will inevitably impact your finished product (printing techniques and finishes, format limitations…etc.).
By hiring a professional graphic designer you are ensuring your brand materials will communicate your message in the most efficient way possible while looking fresh.
What do you charge for graphic design services?
The numbers game.
Pricing varies depending on the complexity of your project as well as the time and production involved.
We’ve been at this for a while, so we’re generally quite accurate at estimating project costs to avoid unpleasant surprises.

I have a simple job. Can you help?
Variety is the spice of life.
We tackle all kinds of jobs from full-scale corporate identity development to small jobs like personalized stationary and one-off invitations.
I need something designed yesterday. Can you help?
Time flies when you’re having fun.
We can usually accommodate a rush job depending on how full our production schedule is at the time of your request.
If we don’t feel that we can devote the time to your project that it deserves, we won’t take it on.
Fast doesn’t mean sloppy.
Will you design free samples?
If you hire monkeys, expect bananas.
Just as you wouldn’t expect an accountant to file a free tax return, designers shouldn’t be expected to provide free work. As professionals who take our craft seriously, we strongly believe that spec work is unethical and devalues the graphic design profession. More info on why spec work is unethical can be found here.
We are happy to show prospective clients work samples to demonstrate our qualifications (check out our ever-changing portfolio to see examples of our past work, style and skills).
Discounted rates are available for regular customers, non-profits and volunteer-based organizations. Also, each year we select a handful of non-profits and charitable causes to volunteer our services to. Some charitable causes we’ve worked with include The Weekend To End Breast Cancer, Musicians Against Parkinsons, MADA, Stroll For Kids, the Red Cross, and ArtistriSud to name a few.
Got more questions? We’re friendly . . . just ask!
