Last week our team enjoyed a wonderful opening night of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change at the Segal Centre. This popular off-Broadway musical is filled with catchy tunes and lighthearted comedy exploring all kinds of romance – from ridiculous first dates to marriage, and parenthood to the senior years. Love is messy and we had a blast laughing with it. The show runs at the Segal Centre in Montreal, Quebec until May 29th, so don’t miss out! Click here to get your tickets!

Design Is Yummy is proud to announce our recent collaboration with the Segal Centre for Performing Arts on their 2016-2017 campaign.

Last Wednesday night we were out in full force at their packed season launch party announcing their upcoming productions.

We were excited to see our custom type treatments and illustrations projected on the big screen to such a warm reception? Look out for the new graphics that will grace the centre’s brochures, program books, posters, building signs and advertising throughout the city in the coming months.

We can’t wait to check out all the shows- with such a passionate, hard working and talented group, they’re no doubt going to be incredible! Congrats to our clients on such a successful evening! Call (514) 739-7944 to subscribe to their upcoming season’s productions. Click here to read more about the project and see more details of the artwork.

On Monday night our team took a trip back in time at the Segal Centre’s presentation of BOOM – a show that explores the defining moments of the baby-boom generation. Written, directed and performed by Rick Miller, this incredible one-man show guides audiences through 25 years of history. Miller portrays over a hundred of the generations’ most influential cultural, musical, and political icons. Combining a documentary style performance, storytelling, and interactive visuals, BOOM was an amazing experience! Even though we aren’t boomers ourselves, we were still able to relate to the context of the show, and reflect upon our own experiences, as well as our parents’ and grandparents’ stories of that era. The show runs at the Segal Centre in Montreal, Quebec until April 10th and if you move quickly, there are still a couple of tickets left.
